Long ago, two people sealing an agreement would break a token in half and each keep a piece. Years later, when the halves fit together, the bond was proven.
Halvo works the same way. The producer and the roaster hold the same record. The seal shows it hasn't changed since the day it was written, and anyone can fit the halves together.
Halvo uses what partners already keep. No new software at origin, no tokens, no crypto wallets.
One lot ID follows the coffee from harvest to bag. Harvest, processing, packing, export and import each add a line, reported in a sheet, a form or a message.
When the lot arrives, before the first roast, its fingerprint is written into Bitcoin. Change one word and it no longer matches.
A QR code on the bag opens the lot's page: the story, the people, the journey, and the details that fill in the why.
Anyone can download the record and its proof and verify it on their own. You don't have to take our word for it.
Your customers can see where their coffee came from and who grew it. Every claim on the bag has a record behind it.
You already record the details of every lot. Halvo makes that record permanent, structured and yours to share with every buyer.
Records publish what's confirmed and say plainly what isn't known. A blank is honest. Filler never is.
Direct trade and importer-sourced lots each show their own depth. A shorter record doesn't make a lesser coffee. It makes a different one.
Once sealed, a record never changes. A correction is a new, sealed note that points to the original.
Nothing goes public without the producer's approval. Prices, terms and quantities stay private.
Halvo is paid for the tools it runs, never for the relationship between a farm and a roaster.
